For all who don’t know, PACE Center for Girls, Inc. is a wonderful not-for-profit organization that has been around for more than 30 years, providing girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training, and advocacy. This year was their 9th annual Lucky Ducky Race for PACE and our first year participating! As the primary fundraiser for PACE Center for Girls, the Lucky Ducky Race for PACE is really about changing the lives of girls in Manatee County. The community came together, adopting a record 23,379 ducks and raising $150,000 for the girls of PACE. From duck races to dressing ducks up, this event wasn’t only helpful to the girls, it was also a lot of fun! We chose to participate in the Best Dressed Duck Corporate Quacky Challenge where we adopted a duck and dressed it up Trident Building Systems style! We may have not won this year but we already have big plans for next year!       We want to thank all of the awesome members of our team who represented us at this year’s PACE’s Ducktail Kickoff party; their contribution to the design/concept of our duck and support with our participation— we couldn’t have done it without you!
