The Naples General Aviation Terminal remodel began in May of 2021. This extensive remodel includes an upgraded lobby, an expanded passenger lounge, an indoor living space, a marketplace for food and drink, additional exterior canopies, and more! The airport is maintaining full operations during the remodel so all work will be done at night. The project will also provide roadway improvements, additional exterior canopies and upgraded office space for the Naples Airport Authority.. The idea behind this extensive renovation is to leave a lasting first impression towards visitors and returning residents landing in Naples, that their trip to Florida may be a memorable one.

With general contractor Owen Ames Kimball leading the way, the entirety of the renovations will use an estimated 304,000 pounds of steel. The overall cost of the project will be around $7.6 Million, with the entire cost funded by airport revenues, without the use of any tax dollars.
