Our team has been hard at work on fabricating and erecting the structural steel for the architecturally complex Cade Museum of Creativity + Invention, located in Gainesville, Florida.

The Cade Museum was named after Dr. James Robert Cade, the physician, musician, researcher and inventor best known for leading the University of Florida team that created Gatorade. He hopes the museum will reflect his outlandish spirit, zest for life and new ideas and genuine interest in helping to motivate and encourage people of all ages and experience. The museum will focus on the neuroscience of creativity, the Gatorade story, and America’s history of support for innovation.

Design Principle Alan Reed said, “the design was inspired by nature, brain calls, and the universe— with connection to each coming from the center of the complex. To further that concept, the museum will include a main hall in the center “that everything grows out of.”

Trident Building Systems is proud to be apart of this 45,000-square-foot museum that aims to change people of all ages within the community and their outlook on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through educating and inspiring creative thinking, future inventors, and early entrepreneurs.
